Introduction:
This 1944 M29 Weasel Tracked Personnel Carrier (Hull No. 7093, date of delivery 09-1944) was a vehicle designed by Studebaker for operations in mud and snow fitting 15-inch span track links along a basic chassis. The hull superstructure was plain and boxy with a folding windscreen at front and an optional canvas covering over the passenger cabin. The driver was positioned at the front-left with three seats in the rear spanning the width of the hull.
As a tracked vehicle the weasels provided a solid cross-country performance. It saw combat service in mainland Europe including the Italian Campaign.

Condition:
This older patina restoration is in good running condition. It has its original markings as being used in the war in Europe in 1944 / 1945 as being used as a support vehicle for the 40 Tank Battalion / 7th Armored Division. This Weasel is very original and comes with many correct details such as:
- Original WW-II very hard to get tracks and roadwheels in remarkable good condition,
- Original seats and canvas cushions
- Very fine running engine with good oil pressure,
- Body in excellent original condition,
- Stretcher support
The vehicle is restored in The Netherlands in the nineties. Will be delivered as indicated on the pictures.
Canvas cover for the passenger cabin is not there / available. Front tow eye need some readjustment / repair.
The weasel is great fun to drive. Due to its dimensions also easy to store and transport.
